An exceptional French Oak Tawny Port cask aged for just a few months shy of 5 years, then finished for a further 12 months in a custom-made barrel crafted from a selection of premium American Oak Bourbon staves from a number of distilleries; a finishing first for the Killara team.

Distillery Tasting Notes

Nose: Hot buttered toast, brandy butterscotch; lightly spiced dried ruby fruits.

Palate: Creamy mouthfeel with notes of  sweet toffee caramel and light plum pudding 

Finish: A warming, rich malted barley finish that lingers long

Nose: Vanilla rice pudding with a dollop of blackberry jam

Palate: A double shot latte topped with spun sugar, sat alongside a freshly baked scone with fresh cream and jam

Finish: Long finish of sweet, decadent butterscotch fudge with a dusting of mixed baking spices
