We are so excited to be working with two brands from New South Wales that are causing quite a stir in both the whisky and wine worlds - Amber Lane Distillery and Vinden Wines.
Rod and Phil from Amber Lane may be relatively new to the scene but they have already been praised by esteemed whisky writer and personality Andrew Derbidge Whisky and Wisdom as one of the best Australian distilleries "making sensational spirit and maturing it beautifully......opting for full-size cask maturation."
Our collaboration has been fully matured in a super-premium cask (more details soon!) and will now be transferred into an equally super-premium wine cask (more details soon!) to undergo a secondary maturation that will create a first - as with all Whisky In Isolation projects - for Amber Lane.
It will also be a first for Angus Vinden of Vinden Wines in the Hunter Valley, who is providing the exceptional wine cask and who has not collaborated on a whisky project before.

Vinden Wines produce minimal-intervention, award-winning wines from organically farmed, family-owned vineyards and have been a 5 Red Star Winery in the world-famous James Halliday wine guide for the last 3 years (Outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity with at least two wines rated at 95 points or above).
